The first week of June brought the first tomatoes.

In the first week, the corn started to surge.

Various plants started the surge in the heat.

Sunflowers, corn, beans, and summer squash. Within a week, this bed was doubled.

The peas did a surge in the first week, but by the 16th, they were all done for spring.

More bell peppers.

Still a bit sparse.

The Bok Choy was done, as the first heat of June hit.

First carrot harvest.

Butter yellow roses.

The Hydrangea I cut back severely last fall is recovering, and I got one bloom. The bush had been nearly destroyed by Tree of Heaven, and had not been trimmed back in years.

Citronella.

The garden end of the second week of June.

The bed with the corn, sunflowers, and beans? It filled in a lot in just a week’s time.

Baby plants.

The corn on the other side and its height.

End of the pea harvest. It was a 4.5-pound harvest of the last plants.
Third week has started – see you at the end of the month!
