Disclaimer On Reviews Of Products:
We receive items from manufacturers, companies, and public relations firms to review. Some do involve payment or in-kind (product) for review. We try to keep an honest opinion about the items, even with paid (sponsored) work, and to let our readers know we received the item to review. If the item is so bad we cannot test it, or it is unsafe, we decline to review it publicly and/or turn down the chance to review it in the first place. We enjoy getting the chance to review books, food items, and other things; it is an enjoyable part of blogging, after all! (Interested in the FTC Regulations on disclosure of freebies for review? Disclaimer on Affiliates:
We use affiliate programs to help cover the cost of running the blog/website. We really appreciate our readers who click thru (thank you!). All companies we use affiliate programs with are companies we do business with ourselves and feel have good business practices – we only recommend those we have had good dealings with. We often post links in our writing to make it easy for our readers to see the products used in our recipes or reviews.
Thank you,
Sarah and Kirk Kirkconnell
