Having a number of local people interested in when to plant locally, I wrote up when I plant. Where we live, in Maple Valley, Wa were in Zone 7B, with a last frost/freeze of April 16th on average. These are the dates that work for me, your mileage may vary of course. You can sow garlic in spring, I do mine in Fall so don’t have any experience to pass on.
Unless I note “Inside”, it means sow seeds directly into the soil. While most seeds don’t need to be started inside, tomatoes and herbs benefit by being started early in the PNW.
May Spring come soon!
I read one of your post sometimes ago http://www.neverfreefarm.com/2016/09/29/september-in-the-gardens
it made such an interesting reading, your garden is so beautiful and the pictures of the tomatoes were beautiful as well. I’m planning for this spring and I hope to plant tomatoes too.
